Brain Injury Support Worker
Location: Tre Harris, South Wales
Salary: £15.69 - £16.47 per hour
Job Type: Zero-hour contract
Shifts: Tuesday – Sunday – 10am-8pm

Role Overview:
We are offering an opportunity for experienced and dedicated Brain Injury Support Workers to join our new client in Tre Harris, working on a 2:1 ratio. Our client is a female in her early 30’s who lives with her family.
She has a brain injury and other complex needs including PEG and occasional Gastric Venting. We are seeking support workers who are confident, empathetic, and capable of building a strong, trusting relationship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- PEG feeding and medication
- Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition
- Administering medication may be required (training provided)
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Supporting with moving and handling, mobility and physical activities
- Light housekeeping duties
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience within a similar role, supporting clients with complex needs.
- Experience and/or knowledge of PEG essential.
- A valid UK driving licence desirable, although non-drivers can be considered if you are able to get to the clients home.
- A caring and compassionate nature
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
