Hours: 4 hours per week – Wednesdays, 10:00am–2:00pm

We are currently seeking a Female Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Middlesbrough, providing care and support to a young client with dystonic cerebral palsy. The client uses a wheelchair and requires assistance with various aspects of daily living.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality, person-centred care to a client with complex health conditions

Assist with personal care, hygiene, and supported outings

Administer medication and observe any changes in health or behaviour

Offer emotional support and companionship

Keep accurate care records and communicate effectively with the care team and family

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
About You:
-
Experience working with individuals with complex needs, ideally dystonic cerebral palsy

paediatric experience

Must hold a full UK driving licence

Confident, empathetic, and patient in approach

Able to follow detailed care plans

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider support network

Flexible to work the specified hours and open to occasional additional shifts
