Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire
Pay Rate: between £13.00 - £13.92 per hour
Shifts: Required to work minimum of 2 shifts per week,
- Monday to Friday: 15:15 – 20:45
- Required to work a minimum of one shift per week: 16:00 – 22:00
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Female Support Worker to join a dedicated care team supporting a female client with Autism, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities.
Our client is non-verbal and relies heavily on her support workers' ability to recognise, interpret, and respond to her individual communication methods, behaviours, and non-verbal cues. The successful candidates will be patient, observant, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality, person-centred support.
Note: This is a female support worker role due to the provision of personal care and is exempt under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, person-centred support tailored to the clients individual needs.
- Develop a positive and trusting working relationship.
- Understand and respond appropriately to non-verbal communication and behavioural cues.
- Support with personal care while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Assist with daily living activities and promoting independence.
- Administer medication in line with training and company procedures.
- Complete accurate documentation and report any changes or concerns.
- Promote wellbeing, choice, inclusion, and quality of life.
Essential Requirements
