📌 Shifts: Monday to Friday + alternate weekends, 08:00 – 20:00

Client Interests Include:

Hand and foot massages

Listening to music (Gospel, Afro beats, and more)

Storytime with a carer

Sensory activities: sand, water, Playdough, and touch-and-feel play

Outdoor walks in warm weather

Lots of positive attention, interaction, and laughter
⚠️ Important Note:
To ensure the client’s comfort and safety, carers should avoid strong scents including perfume, deodorant, alcohol gel, and strongly-scented laundry products. Light scents are fine — the focus is an allergy-friendly environment.
✅ Essential Experience:

Tracheostomy care

Oral & tracheal suctioning

Dystonia & seizure management

Learning disabilities

Medication administration
(Upskilling is not available for these core competencies — experience required)
